During the Halloween season, our brothers put countless hours towards transorming our house into the Phi Kap haunted house every year. Our brotherhood creates an all-new and unique guided walk-through of our haunted house for a night or two-night scare tour designed to be fun for all ages. All proceeds go directly to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Sororities team with us to sell baked goods in front of our house to raise more money for other organizations. During October, keep an ear out for our advertisements on the radio, on campus and around the community. Come help support our causes!

Maine Veteran's Home
The pledge class in the spring of 2002 traveled to the Maine Veterans Home for their philanthropy event. Our pledge class entertained the senior citizens with a spectacular bingo night. We brought prizes, cheer and a whole lot of fun to the evening.
The pledge class in the fall of 2001 held their philanthropy event at a local Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House is a philanthropy that provides affordable housing to cancer patients and their families. Our pledge class served a delicious spaghetti dinner for the staff and residents of the Ronald McDonald House.
The Waiting Littles
The Waiting Littles, a division of Catholic Charities of Maine, is a program designed for children whom are waiting to get into The Big Brothers and Big Sisters program. In the 2001-2002 school year we hosted two fun-filled parties, a Halloween Party and an Easter Egg Hunt. The kids made pumpkins, dyed Easter Eggs and of course went home with plenty of candy
Many brothers were eager to volunteer in all three American Red Cross Blood Drives in 2001-2002 held at the University of Maine. Brothers aided setup, registration and cleanup. Plus 2002's Greek Blood Drive was organized by Brother Dustin Miles!
